terranets bw GmbH is an independent transport network operator for gas. Since 1961, the company has been operating a gas transport system in large parts of Germany. With its approximately 2,700 km long pipeline network, terranets bw ensures the non-discriminatory transport of gas from Lower Saxony to Lake Constance. terranets bw has been continuously expanding its transport network for 60 years, thus ensuring security of supply at the highest level. Many cities and municipalities in Baden-Württemberg and Hesse as well as parts of Lower Saxony, Bavaria and Switzerland, Vorarlberg and the Principality of Liechtenstein are now connected to the terranets bw GmbH pipeline network.

In order to fulfil this task, terranets bw GmbH, in cooperation with bayernets GmbH, operates, among other things, a natural gas transfer/reference station at the Neu-Ulm site - station designation "Steinhäule". Due to necessary capacity expansion measures, the existing station has to be expanded by a new station. This station (station name "Pfuhl") is to be built in the immediate vicinity (about 400m as the crow flies) and connected to the existing station.

In connection with the new construction of the Pfuhl station, terranets bw GmbH is tendering for the construction of the connecting pipelines (including civil engineering services) to the main supply lines in a Europe-wide tendering procedure. The scope of services of the contractor includes the construction and backfilling of the trench, the manufacture and installation of the connecting pipelines together with connection valve groups as well as the implementation of associated acceptance procedures.

The required tasks include, but are not limited to:

- Construction of the construction site equipment area

- Construction of high-pressure gas pipelines according to DVGW worksheet G463

- Production of excavation pits and trenches according to DIN 4124

- Introduction of liquid soil

- Creation of excavations and trenches in hardened liquid soil

- Production of connecting pipes and fitting groups

- Insertion of connecting pipes and connection fitting groups

- Backfilling of excavation pits and trenches

- Production of surfaces
