The purpose of the assignment is to investigate the reasons for, and consequences of, women and children being detained and left behind in other countries, and to propose preventive measures. This shall result in one written report that describes the results and methods of the investigation.

The time frame of the agreement is from the date of contract signing to the presentation of the final report by 15 December 2023. The total financial frame is NOK 2 million excluding VAT. The estimated value is not binding for the contracting authority.
