Now and then there is a need for a larger vehicle/multi-use vehicle/goods van which space for multiple persons and instruments.
The framework agreement will ensure a broad offer of rental vehicles from a supplier, but the contracting authority is free to choose another supplier when more appropriate, for example, due to geography or excursions and to hire vehicles from another supplier at locations where the framework agreement supplier does deliver.
The largest users will be researchers on field work from April/May until October/November throughout the entire country that can use rental cars for a longer rental period up until one continuous month.

Tenderers must have a good standard and quality vehicle fleet and with the possibility for renting extra equipment.
The cars and services related to car maintenance must satisfy the official requirements in accordance with laws, regulations, etc. The vehicle must have good driving comfort, be reliable and economical to use, have good safety for the users and be easy to use in relation to parking/good rear view visibility. The additional services concerning vehicle maintenance must contribute to the users being able to use the most possible of their working time for their main assignments.
Tenderers must have material rights to the vehicle during the rental period, meaning the contracting authority only pays for use of the vehicles. When the rental period is over, the tenderer must organise the requirements related to the return.
The rental period is 1 year with the possibility to extend for 1 year + 1 year + 1 year (maximum of 4 years).
