The purpose of this contract is to renew and extend the centralized and secure Wi-Fi wireless network infrastructure, including structured cabling, on the two sites of the Parliament (Registry Hotel: Rue de la Loi 6 - 1000 Brussels and line hotel: Rue Royale 72 - 1000 Brussels).
This contract involves the provision, installation and configuration of the active and passive components required for the renewal and extension of the WLAN wireless network infrastructure and any wiring work.
This contract involves the provision, installation and configuration of the active and passive components required for the renewal and extension of the WLAN wireless network infrastructure and any wiring work. In this context, in collaboration with the contracting authority, the successful tenderer will have for main tasks:
- Site survey and Wi-Fi coverage to accurately determine the number and optimal placement of Wi-Fi hotspots in each of the areas to be covered,
- the design and architecture of a solution best suited to the needs,
- the supply of this solution,
- supply of active network equipment (access points), control systems, AAA infrastructure, potential accessories ((Q) SFP ...),
- the definition of the migration plan,
- the physical installation, the configuration of the active equipment, the putting into service of the whole, the tests of the new WLAN wireless network,
- supply and installation of structured cabling and transmission cables (copper, optical, etc.) necessary for the connectivity of each of the equipment provided,
- technical migration of critical equipment (AAA authentication server, portal, etc.),
- technical, theoretical and practical training on the hardware, software, protocols, configuration and maintenance of the proposed solution,
- the assistance of the internal teams for the configurations necessary for the proper functioning of the applications (for example integration with the user databases ...),
- the provision of all "as built" documents at the end of the installations, including a detailed diagram of the implemented architecture including the different components and flows involved in the proposed solution.
At the operational level, the performance of the successful tenderer also implies:
- the mechanisms necessary to secure the entire architecture from an IT perspective, including its management,
- maintenance of the entire solution, including support, technical support and other related services.
