The tender includes carrying out statutory external audits for the Danish Institute for Human Rights. Annual audits and statements of opinion on the financial statements for the current financial year must be carried out, starting with the financial year 2023. The tender also includes audits of the Danish Institute for Human Rights' EU projects and any ongoing advice.

The contracting entity wishes the following tasks to be solved through this invitation to tender:

• To audit and endorse the institutions' annual report

• To make the declarations requested by the Ministry or the Board of Directors

• In addition, to perform the tasks arising from the Contract and the description of the Service in the tender documents

• To carry out its audit in accordance with applicable legislation, international standards and standards for public audits

• To cooperate with the NAO to the extent deemed necessary by the NAO in accordance with the § 9 agreement. It is the National Audit Office that has the duty of initiative.
