The acquisition concerns the forensic transport of the deceased ordered by the police.

The tender is being requested for the transport of deceased persons ordered by the police in the Upper Savo area (Iisalmi, Keitele, Kiuruvesi, Lapinlahti, Pielavesi, Sonkajärvi, Rautavaara and Vieremä). The acquisition targets:

1. Emergency transport where the deceased is transported from the place of the deceased to the place of burial of the deceased, or directly to the place of autopsy.

2. Transit transportations where the deceased is transported from the place where the deceased is stored to the autopsy site.

3. Return transport where the deceased is transported from the place of autopsy to the place of collection or to another place within the same sub-area.

During the previous contract period, the number of deaths on duty was approximately 108 per year. The number of deceased persons has been about 108 per year in transportations and about 82 per year in return transport. The transportation volumes for the previous contract period reflect the estimated estimated acquisition volume, which may differ from the actual volume.
