The offer includes daily cleaning of GI's premises in the inner city. The total area to be cleaned under the tendered contract amounts to 3,249 m2, and consists mainly of office space, hallways, meeting rooms, canteen kitchen, canteen, etc. Parts of the area do not need to be cleaned daily.
Today, the tendered tasks are handled by an external supplier. The tender is carried out to ensure continued good quality at competitive prices. The cleaning services are offered in a 4-year agreement with an option of 2 x 12 months extension with expected contract start on 1 April 2023.
The tasks to be performed by the winning tenderer (hereinafter "the Supplier") are described in detail in the requirements specification (Appendix B) and the agreement (Appendix G). In particular, GI must point out that the draft agreement contains a number of requirements for the Supplier's environmental measures. These requirements reflect GI's ongoing focus on protecting the environment and are an important component of the services to be provided by the Supplier.
