The Finnish Transport Agency manages waterways that are divided into waterway classes (VL) 1-6. Service Needs Overview:
The Finnish Transport Agency is seeking an operator who has the necessary resources and expertise to carry out research and planning on waterways. The nature of the work is continuous. The operator will program his / her own research, carry out the research and prepare the necessary documentation, under the guidance of the Finnish Transport Agency, in accordance with industry guidelines. The contractor is required to have a good knowledge of waterway surveys and planning and related guidance. The general language of the contracts and of this assignment is Finnish and all documents are in Finnish. Proficiency in Swedish is an advantage, especially when working in Åland. When operating in Åland, the customs legislation of Åland and other legislation that differs from mainland Finland must also be taken into account.
