CPT_23_02 Financial Audit Temporary and Permanent Recruitment Services

The National Audit Office (NAO) the UK's independent public spending watchdog sought organisations who could deliver Financial Audit Temporary and Permanent Recruitment Services which support the NAO's permanent and temporary audit staffing needs.

The service will be divided into two lots:-

• Lot 1 Financial Audit Temporary Recruitment Services

• Lot 2 Financial Audit Permanent Recruitment Services

Interested suppliers were able to submit a bid for one or both of the lots and it was NAO intention to award contracts to up to a maximum of 5 of the highest-ranked suppliers for each lot (10 suppliers in total).

The contract value for both lots is £12.129m inclusive of VAT and the new contracts are expected to go live by December 2023 for an initial period of 2 years with the option to further extend the term of the agreement for a period of up to two years (on the basis of two periods of 12 months).

Lot 1 Financial Audit Temporary Recruitment Services

The selected suppliers awarded Lot 1 Financial Audit Temporary Recruitment Services contracts will be expected to recruit temporary financial audit staff for the NAO. The estimated contract values will be a combination of both agency commission and pay for temporary staff.

Lot 2 Financial Audit Permanent Recruitment Services

The selected suppliers awarded Lot 2 Financial Audit Permanent Recruitment Services contracts will be expected to recruit permanent financial audit staff for the NAO. The estimated contract values will pay for agency's commission only.
