See II.2.4
UZ Leuven is looking for a QM/PM software package (duration 10 years) to support processes of its quality and process management. UZ Leuven is the largest university hospital in Belgium in which almost 10,000 employees provide specialized and innovative care to patients on a daily basis. Future care providers and employees receive high-quality training at UZ Leuven, with a view to lifelong learning and innovation. As a pioneer in clinical research, the hospital also contributes to the patient care of tomorrow. The organization has more than 60 different (quality) management systems, regulations or accreditation/certification forms, both overarching and in specific departments (lab, pharmacy, sterilization, radiotherapy, clinical trials, ...) that are often managed independently of each other today. In addition, relatively new requirements have been added for health institutions (MDR/IVDR, GMP, ...) or major changes in existing systems that need to be answered. The organization wants to provide an integrated response to the current fragmented management of the various quality systems and thus reduce the associated conflicts, blind spots and duplication. To support this integrated quality management system, UZ Leuven is looking for a software package that supports the management of processes, documents, standards, risks, audits, improvement actions,...
The ambition of UZ Leuven is, with the support of the tools in this software package, to evolve into a process-driven organization in which the processes form the backbone of both quality management and document display.
