ROAF, hereafter called the contracting authority, needs welding and
mechanical work carried out and repairs of various machines and equipment at all the
recycling stations and other facilities in the owner municipalities. The main objective of
the procurement is to get professional welding and metal work carried out and to get
repairs carried out with the shortest possible interruption to operations at the sorting facility.
The contracting authority shall establish a contract with one service provider and, through the contract,
ensure that the contracting authority has assistance within agreed response times at
predictable costs. The service provider requirements are described in annex
1: ‘Requirement Specifications’. The Procurement's Nature. All the locations use
both site machines and other equipment where welding and metal work is a part of
the repair and maintenance need. In particular, welding and mechanical
work at the contracting authority's fully automatic sorting facility for collected
household waste. The contracting authority has a container park of approx. 750 small (2.5 — 10
m
welding (maintenance) and lacquering. In addition there is a need for welding work on
sieves, mills, ploughs/snow cutters, mill teeth, etc. as well as storing and
adaptating parts to order. The contracting authority has guarantees and a contract for service
of the conveyor belt in the sorting facility. Assignments that come under the mentioned
contracts are not included in this framework agreement. In addition, the contracting authority reserves
the right to carry out parts of the container maintenance with its own employees.
The contract start will be approx. 1.5.2016 with a contract period of 4 years.
