The municipal computing center Niederrheine (KRZN) is responsible for the development and procurement of modern information technology as well as the support in the preparation and use of the technology of the association members and association users. In this capacity, the KRZN holds a contract that guarantees Premier Support for Oracle Java in the Standard Edition (SE) as well as the commercial use of this product.

This existing contract will expire on 28.05.2021. The subject of this procurement is the subsequent subscription with a term of 12 months (from May 29, 2022 to May 28, 2023) for Oracle Java SE.

The purchase quantities will be 5,125 client licenses (Named User Plus (NUP))/Oracle Java SE Desktop Subscription (1 year) NUP and 2,674 Server Licenses (Core Licenses)/Oracle Java SE Subscription (1 Year) Proc.

The optional ordering of up to 350 server licenses (core licenses)/Oracle Java SE subscription (1 year) Proc is also reserved (depending on requirements and after usually centralized retrieval by the KRZN).

The Niederrhein Municipal Data Center (KRZN) intends to procure (EVB-IT lease agreement type B) of Oracle Java licenses, Standard Edition (SE), including maintenance services (subscription) for temporary use (12 months) by its association members and association users from 29.05.2022 to 28.05.2023.
