It has been identified that the glycol / water pipework at the LRF facility is starting to display signs of surface corrosion due to Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI). This tender is for the purchase and installation of a new and improved insulation system.

The existing Foamglas® with Terostat coating system will be removed and replaced with a Mineral Wool spacer system with aluminium / zinc cladding, this will provide improved protection and limit the opportunity for CUI to cause further issues.

During this process the pipework will be thoroughly inspected and any remedial repairs made.
