The Ministry of Transport would like to carry out an external transport review for the next contract period for the procurement of regional flights in South and North Norway, starting 1 April 2024, as well as for the helicopter route Værøy-Bodø, starting 1 August 2024.

The intention is to strengthen the professional basis for the ministry's assessments, so that the announced procurement set-up sees to important considerations in the best possible way, as the best possible transport standard at the lowest possible cost, routes that suit the expected market development, facilitation for competition, an assessment of the FOT scheme and socio-economy.

The consultant is to assess the current route network and recommend how the route network should be in Norway from the 1 April 2024.
