The procurement includes the connection to the WAN of a telecom provider including the provision of Internet services.

The object of the procurement is the provision of network services with defined quality and availability parameters over a minimum contract period of 48 months.

Berliner Immobilien Management GmbH currently uses leased lines for the transmission of voice, video and other data as well as for general use of the Internet.

The aim of the project is to reconnect BIM to a wide area network operated by the contractor with significantly increased transmission bandwidth (2 x 10 Gbps). The performance requirement for the contractor includes the provision of all necessary network elements (connections, routers, etc.) as well as operation, servicing and maintenance in the form of a managed service.

In order to safeguard business operations, the object of the service also includes the design, provision and operation of an interim solution in a quality comparable to the current state (2 x 500 Mbps).
