Introduction

Jönköping Municipality (the Client) invites the applicant (Supplier) to apply to participate in the procurement of electricity, telecommunications and elevator design for the new Rosenlundsbadet.

The requirements and conditions applicable to the application phase are set out in this call.

Orientation on the project and mission

The new Rosenlundsbadet will include a diving pool with a 10m tower, a 50x25m competition pool, a 25x25m pool and several multi-purpose pools. It will occupy approximately 16,500 m2 GFA. In terms of height, the building will be located with the lowest floor 0 at the level of Huskvarnavägen and excavated into the current grass slope. All water surfaces are intended to be placed on floor 1. Grandstand capacity for the competition pool must be available. Demolition of the existing bath will take place when a new bath is inaugurated and a park will be built within the property after this demolition.

The project intends to be a pilot project for the municipality's future development in digitization and will also maintain a high level of sustainability.

The assignment relates to the design of the construction contract for the construction of a new swimming pool/bathhouse. The assignment includes design in the program phase, system document stage and detailed design/construction document stage, and involves deliveries of documents in all of these stages.

The project will be carried out with the procurement form of shared contract.

Feasibility study

The Technical Office, together with Sweco, has carried out a feasibility study for the development of decision-making data for the political process. The feasibility study has formed the basis for the investment decision taken by the Municipal Council of Jönköping Municipality. Procured suppliers will need to comply with this decision.

The feasibility study includes a placement study and cost calculations on the condition that a new zoning plan is developed and that the existing bath will be in operation throughout the construction period.
