Halton Housing Trust required two contractors to provide asbestos (including Legionella) testing and removal services across Halton Housing Trust sites, primarily within the Widnes and Runcorn area but potentially wherever Halton Housing Trust has an operational requirement. The tender was structured into two lots reflecting the two proposed contracts. Please note — Lot 1: Contract for asbestos (including Legionella) testing services, has been cancelled due to insufficient bids for the ITT stage of the process.

The contract award notice is for Lot 2: Contract for removal of asbestos as required by Halton Housing Trust. No sub-contracting is permissible under the contract. The awarded contract is accessible by all parts of Halton Housing Trust including any future subsidiaries. Additional requirements/locations may be identified and incorporated into the awarded contract by Halton Housing Trust during the contract period provided that they do not distort this initial call for competition.
