City of Dachau - H85 - Extension of nursery Otto-Kohlhofer-Weg, 2nd BA - VgV outdoor facilities

The existing 4-group nursery was completed in 2016 and is now to be expanded.

The newly planned area for the outdoor facilities is approx. 500m² - depending on the size of the new building. Of this, approx. 220m² is allocated to the area of the current pitches. According to B-Plan 165/14, these parking spaces, which are required for the employees as well as for delivery and pick-up traffic, are to be accommodated in a district garage in the long term. In the period between the commissioning of the 2nd construction phase and completion of the garage (currently planned for the end of 2026), the necessary parking spaces will probably have to be created in temporary construction nearby.

The choice of materials and design of the outdoor facilities should be based on the first construction phase and complement the offer for the crèche children.

In the first construction phase, two wooden terraces with benches and parasols were built adjacent to the surrounding pavement below the play balconies. A sandy area with playhouse, bird's nest swing, a toddler climbing combination, as well as a wooden train are available. Natural robinia woods were chosen as materials for the play equipment, as well as blue rubber granulate for the fastened mostly modelled play surfaces.

The current extension area was created as a sowing area. The entire garden area is fenced.

The extension area is to be built during operation.
