In addition to the Altmain sports hall, the cultural hall and the primary school, the new building of the Grafenrheinfeld daycare centre joins the row of public buildings in Grafenrheinfeld and closes them off to the street "Am Wehrbusch". The building is a compact, two-storey and rectangular shape, which is completed with seven gable roofs lined up next to each other with a roof pitch of 30°. The building will have an inner courtyard to illuminate the foyer and other rooms, as well as an incision in the gable roof so that part of the building services can be installed on the flat roof. The façade plays with an alternation of generously glazed areas and clinkered wall surfaces. The project is planned as a KfW 40 building.
The building will be constructed in skeleton construction, the outer walls are in concrete. On the ground floor, the interior walls are usually bricked, on the upper floor usually built in drywall. Part of the suspended ceilings will be created with perforated GK panels with edge frieze in dry construction. On the ground floor the slope height is 60 cm, on the upper floor 13 cm. The exterior and other concrete walls as well as all masonry walls are plastered. All visible plaster and drywall surfaces are painted, the walls are wallpapered with a non-woven fabric.
