Together with four municipalities, the National Board of Social Services will further develop (mature) an interdisciplinary intervention model for inclusion in school of children with reactive behaviour. In order for the employees in the project municipalities to be equipped to implement the effort, the municipalities are offered competence development in 2023-2025. The purpose of competence development is to ensure that employees across the social and school area can translate and work with the intervention model in practice so that teachers and parents of children with reactive behaviour achieve strengthened competencies and opportunities for action that can create positive development processes in class and at home.

The purpose of competence development is to ensure that employees across the social and school area can translate and work with the intervention model in practice so that teachers and parents of children with reactive behaviour achieve strengthened competencies and opportunities for action that can create positive development processes in class and at home. The task concerns the preparation of a competence development concept that includes the following: 1) Organization of competency development for the project municipalities' professional advisor, resource counsellor(s), group leader(s) and class teams, including the preparation of teaching material and supporting material for the implementation of class and parent group courses and the translation of the core elements of the intervention model into concrete practice initiatives in class and at home. 2) Implementation of competency development in four rolls in the period from 2023-2025. 3) Administration and project management of competency development, including cooperation with the National Board of Social Services and evaluator.
