The objective of this open Call for Tenders (Monthly Energy Statistics) is to provide the Commission support for the treatment of the questionnaires mentioned in Annexes C and D of Regulation (EC) no 1099/2008 on energy statistics (which concern the monthly and short-term energy statistics), to support Eurostat in monitoring the quality of the monthly and short-term monthly data received and in disseminating it through various means (such as – but not limited to – the online public database, the Statistics Explained articles, news releases, statistical publications, etc.).

The total volume of the work for the entire contract period is estimated to cover approximately:

480 person-days per year at the level of junior statistician or statistician;

20 person-days per year at the level of senior statistician or energy expert.
