There are three CHP plants at the Langenbrahm sewage sludge treatment plant (KSB). The gas engines are from Liebherr (G9508 TIE) with a continuous electrical output of 330 kW each and are operated with an upstream gas cleaning system. The gas engines have each achieved a mileage of around 50,000 operating hours, so major overhaul work is required.
