The subject of the present award procedure is the provision of mobile devices (smartphones & tablets) within the framework of a rental model as well as the management of these devices over their life cycle within the framework of a "managed service"
L-Bank is the promotional institution of the state of Baden-Württemberg. Their business activities are governed by the legal mandate to support the country in the performance of its public tasks, in particular in the areas of structural, economic and social policy, while implementing promotional measures in accordance with The State aid rules of the European Union.
In order to increase its attractiveness as an employer and to increase employee satisfaction, L-Bank would like to equip all its internal employees (approx. 1,500) with iPhones and a selected group of people (approx. 50) with iPads. Among other things, the use of mobile devices is intended to implement internal multi-factor authentication and make processes more efficient.
As part of this procurement procedure, L-Bank is therefore looking for a service provider for
- the provision of mobile devices (iPhones and iPads) as part of a leasing or rental model
- the operation of mobile device management (MDM) software, including the provision of the necessary licenses
- the configuration and integration of mobile devices into the MDM
- the management of mobile phone contracts and tariffs of the L-Bank
In addition, further services such as a replacement service for defective devices, the certified deletion of the devices used and user support are to be offered.
The contract is scheduled to be concluded by the end of November 2023. The provision of services should begin immediately after the conclusion of the contract and initially. The contract is to be concluded for an initial period of 36 months and, if no notice of termination is given, will be automatically extended for a further 12 months at a time.
