Of a Category 3 independent design check of Narrow Water Bridge in accordance with Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) publication DN-STR-03001 (Technical Acceptance of Road Structures on Motorways and Other National Roads). The design check shall cover all aspects of the detailed design (structural, civil, geotechnical and MEICA (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control and automation)) of the cable-stayed bridge and associated rolling bascule opening span to defined standards (Eurocodes and other relevant design standards and specifications as applicable and defined in the technical acceptance report) as translated into the Contract Works Requirements (Drawings and Specifications). The scope of the design check to be undertaken (inclusions and exclusions) is as defined in the Schedule B (Consultant’s services and fees) of the Standard Conditions of Engagement for Consultancy Services (Technical) Schedules.
