The service includes the collection, transport and treatment of hazardous waste from four recycling sites in Grenland.

In addition the contract includes the service provider providing a suitable site (permanent or mobile) for use centrally in Grenland, for the reception of unsorted hazardous waste that is collected in a separate collection round from household subscribers' homes. The service provider must receive this waste, declare and pack it before further treatment. Such collections will be made 2-4 times per annum.
