The contract consists of the complete execution of a new cycle path from Møllendal-Kronstad, including the expansion of an existing tunnel, a new culvert and tunnel for a siding for the railway, (not including track and contact line work). The contract requires several disciplines. The work can be described as challenging in a high-density developed area and cultural memorials that must be taken care of.
• demolition of buildings;
• disassembly/removal of an old stone bridge;
• 100 metre concrete culvert for a railway;
• 60 meter rock tunnel for a railway;
• ventilation and emergency lighting for a railway;
• escape road from a railway tunnel;
• expansion of a bridge in Møllendalsbakken;
• back ripping, securing, and altering the old Kronstad track's railway tunnel under Haukeland to a foot and cycle tunnel;
• construction of a foot and cycle path;
• renewal and upgrade of water and sewage, new water pipeline between Kronstad and Fløen;
• taking care of protected cultural memorials.
