The Cabot Learning Federation is a trust comprising multiple Academies (publicly-funded independent schools). The contract is to undertake mechanical and electrical (M&E) planned preventative maintenance (PPM) contract and reactive repairs for a total of 8 Academies initially, all members of the trust. Contract is for 3 years initial with option to extend to 5 by mutual agreement.

The maintenance is to be carried out to ensure the statutory compliance and required maintenance to the M&E equipment in relation to the B&ES SFG20 maintenance specification.

The numbers of the Academies under the contract may increase or reduce over the life of the contract depending on the requirements of the Cabot Learning Federation. The Academies are a mixture of primary and secondary education level and the size of their premises varies accordingly.

Some of the Academies have existing M&E PPM contracts and these are due to finish after the initial start date of this contract, in these cases, it is likely that these Academies will be added to the contract following the expiry date of their current contract.
