The agreement consists of drawing up a programme plan followed by the execution of the three sub-assignments (pillars) from the Heat Transition Vision:
1. For the three focus neighbourhoods, Hapert-Noord, Hapert-Centrum and Casteren, the municipality will develop Neighbourhood Implementation Plans (WUP's). In 1 of these 3 neighbourhoods, a pilot will first be started in 2022 or 2023 (in accordance with council decision).
2. In addition, the municipality will carry out research into the possibility of using the sewage treatment plant on the Castersedijk as a heat source for heating part of the Bladel core and the possible application of solar thermal energy from the company roofs of business park De Sleutel and the Kempisch Business Park;
3. Finally, the municipality-wide focus is on insulating and preparing homes free of natural gas. To this end, the municipality draws up a generic isolation approach/program for the entire municipality of Bladel.
