Kil municipality welcomes to tender for keyless locks with associated locking systems.
The purpose of the procurement is to meet the need for keyless locks and associated systems for customers within the municipality who are granted help and efforts under the Social Services Act (SoL), the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL) or under the Act on Special Services for Certain Disabled People (LSS) to some extent as well as for medicine cabinets. Furthermore, the purpose of the procurement with the introduction of the system is to provide increased security for customers, more efficient care and care and an improved work environment with reduced stress for employees. The aim is also to increase security by increasing the quality of key management.
The municipality also wants to integrate digital key management with the operational system for health and social care. Thus, further quality-enhancing and time-saving effects are expected to be achieved such as reduced double administration and simplified documentation.

Kil municipality intends to introduce a digital locking system (for both property gates, doors to homes, laundry room, garbage room and medicine cabinet) with associated administration tools and possible opportunities for additional functions.
The municipality is asking for a solution that caters for
the business's requirements and needs for a simple, secure and cost-effective solution for unlocking / locking the residents' doors, property gates and associated spaces, residents' and relatives' requirements for a solution that minimizes the impact on how these lock and unlock the resident's door, the property owner's requirement for a solution with minimal or no damage to his property (doors, stairwells, facades, etc.), the municipality's opportunities to use the system and its components to eventually get more effects that simplify the work for the business. The requested equipment and service should be able to be used partly by the municipality's own providers and partly by private companies that carry out home care efforts in the municipality.
In health and social care in Kil municipality there are currently about 450 users and about 350 customers / locks. There will also be a need to supplement with a number of units continuously during the contract period.
The procurement includes 400 keyless locks for residential doors with associated locking systems, 9 medicine cabinets with digital locks and the associated administrative system.
Furthermore, the procurement includes the following options that the municipality must be able to order during the entire contract period:
Additional locks for doors, in addition to the 400 locks ordered by the conclusion of the contract. Lock to gates, garbage room and laundry room. Additional medicine cabinets and digital locks for medicine cabinets in addition to those ordered through the conclusion of the agreement. Alternative locking solutions. Servicing locks. Training.
The agreement shall be valid for four (4) years from the date of signing with the possibility for the municipality to subsequently extend the agreement for one (1) plus one (1) plus one (1) year.
