Since its formation in July 2006, the Trust has embarked on a programme of work to improve the standards of its properties and to ensure that these met the UK Government's Decent Homes Standard by December 2010. The Trust completed the works and since 2010 has continued to deliver 100 % Decent Home compliance.
The Trust is now seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced contractors to enter into a 4 year Framework Agreement for the delivery of the Trust's planned maintenance programme. (April 2016 to March 2020). This programme of work will be in respect of residential properties owned by The Trust in the Aylesbury Vale area.
The requirement is split into the following lots:
Lot 1. Multiple Internal Packages Within a Single Property: Replacement of windows, external doors, kitchens, bathrooms, central heating, electrical installations, asbestos surveys and removal, damp proofing, structural works, insulation and voids.
Lot 2. Externals: Replacement of pitched and flat roof coverings, work to chimneys, rainwater goods, fascias and soffits and bargeboards, repairs to walls (i.e. pointing, cladding, etc.) porches and canopies, balcony floors and balustrades and railings, fences and gates, paths and hard standings boundary walls, asbestos surveys and removal, external painting, damp proofing, structural works and insulation.
Lot 3. Kitchens: Replacement of kitchens within an occupied property with associated works for example electrical works, asbestos surveys and removal.
Lot 4. Bathrooms: Replacement of traditional bathrooms, additional WCs and shower rooms within an occupied property with associated works for example electrical works, asbestos surveys and removal.
Lot 5. Electrical Works: Replacement of full rewires within occupied properties and associated works, for example asbestos surveys and removal.
Lot 6. Central Heating Works: Replacement of full central heating systems within occupied properties, gas central heating, oil heating, electrical heating as well as renewable technology, for example Air Source Heating Pumps, with associated works for example electrical works, asbestos surveys and removal.
Lot 7. Windows and Doors: Replacement of windows, external doors, patio doors, French doors and flat entrance doors within occupied properties.
