The River System Association invites relevant tenderers to submit a tender for monitoring in the Mjøsa water area in 2022 and 2023, with an option for a further one plus one year of monitoring.

The contest consists of these sub-areas together:

1. Monitoring Stor-Mjøsa (main station Skreia)

2. Monitoring the water quality at three other stations in Mjøsa, Brøttum, Kise and Furnesfjorden, as well as animal plankton in Furnesfjorden.

3. Monitoring chemical and hygienic/bacteriological conditions in Mjøsa´s six largest feed rivers and the outflow river Vorma, as well as biological surveys in the 11 largest feed rivers and Vorma on a rolling programme.

4. Monitoring selected pollutants (heavy metals and organic compounds) in two of the largest feed rivers on a rolling programme.

5. Reporting, including various presentations and entering all data into the database Vannmiljø.
