The subject of the contract is to carry out an expertise for the purpose of supplementing the state of the art for conservation objects in Natura 2000 areas: Moczary PLH180026 (Carpathian newt Lissotriton montandoni).

A detailed description of the Object of the Order is attached as Annex 1 to the ToR.

Preparation of expertise for the purposes of supplementing the state of knowledge for conservation objects in the Natura 2000 Moczary PLH180026 area (Carpathian newt Lissotriton montandoni)

1. The contractor under the contract:

1) will in 2020 make an inventory of the Carpathian newt habitats during

3 field inspections at each of the stations, in each of the three months: May, June, July (one inspection for each month). If reproduction is not confirmed by the end of July, an additional check should be carried out in August. Herpetologist expert will supplement the state of knowledge about the species in the area of Natura 2000 Moczary PLH180026. Tanks produced by beavers on the Królówka river and its tributaries as well as the Syhawka river and its tributaries that can be potentially used by amphibians as breeding tanks should be inventoried. Reservoirs (approx. 21) with a total area of about 24 ha are shown in the map attachment. Each tank will be inspected three times during the season. For each position, GPS coordinates should be determined and photographic documentation made. The contractor will additionally save statements of other species of amphibians in tanks,

2) determines whether Carpathian newt occurs and breeds in the inventory tanks. Population and habitat indicators will be determined and indexed in accordance with the methodology of the State Environmental Monitoring of the Chief Inspectorate for Environmental Protection,

3) on the basis of field work and in accordance with the methodology of the State Environmental Monitoring of the Chief Inspectorate for Environmental Protection will assess the species conservation status and assess the status of the habitat. Parameters and scale were set out in the Annex to the Regulation of the Minister of the Environment of 17.2.2010.

On the preparation of draft conservation task plans for the Natura 2000 Area (Journal of Laws No. 34, item 186, as amended), in which "FV: means correct state," U1 "- unsatisfactory," U2 - bad ".

2. The result of the expertise will be the documentation prepared by the Contractor:

2.1. Descriptive showing the results of the conducted nature expertise (...)

2.2. Photographic, consisting of at least two photos showing the whole or the largest part of each water reservoir and a minimum of 2 photos of Carpathian Newt found in each of the examined positions together with an appropriate description (if larvae, juveniles and adults are found opportunities for photographs of all developmental stages).
