The KANAL Foundation wishes to obtain the services of one or more translators and/or translation companies for the next 2 years (24 months).

Extension of the contract: by submitting to this contract, the candidate undertakes to extend his offer to the CIVA Foundation, partner of the KANAL Foundation. This extension applies under the same conditions, for the same duration and for the same volumes as those described in these special specifications. This extension may be requested by the CIVA Foundation, according to the latter's needs.

This framework agreement is divided into 4 lots:

- Lot 1: administrative and legal translations;

- Lot 2: artistic and museum translations;

- Lot 3: translations of communication elements;

- Lot 4: translation and subtitling of audiovisual documents.

The translation uses the transposition of texts into a language other than the original one, ... (see contract documents)

Lot 1 (Administrative and legal translations)

Comment: The successful bidder carries out translations commissioned by the administrative and financial department, the human resources department, the architecture department and more rarely by the other departments of the KANAL Foundation. He translates from French, Dutch and English into French, Dutch or English.

The documents to be translated are essentially the following:

- Contracts and model contracts;

- Specifications;

- Miscellaneous reports;

- Note from the Board of Directors;

- Contentious letters, arguments and complaints;

- Job offers, job description and engagement documents;

- Evaluation forms and individual interview reports;

- Internal policy note;

- Internal newsletters;

- Powerpoint presentations.

Lot 2 (Artistic and museum translations)

Comment: The successful bidder carries out translations commissioned by the artistic departments and more rarely by the other departments of the KANAL Foundation. He translates from French, Dutch and English into French, Dutch, English, Romanian or Arabic.

The documents to be translated are essentially the following:

-Texts by curators concerning artistic projects and works of art covering modern and contemporary art;

- Notices of works;

- Texts for the general public on exhibition walls;

- Exhibition cartels;

- Mediation guides;

- Guides for children and families;

- Colophon ;

- Invitations to projects;

- Occasional formal correspondence.)

Lot 3 (Translations of communication elements)

Comment: The successful bidder carries out translations commissioned by the communication department and more rarely by the other departments of the KANAL Foundation. He translates from French, Dutch and English into French, Dutch, English, Romanian or Arabic.

The documents to be translated are essentially the following:

- texts for the website and social networks related to the KANAL collection;

- texts for the website and social networks related to exhibitions, performances, concerts, shows, other activities;

- press releases and press kits;

- brochures and leaflets;

- reports;

- transcription and translation of interviews;

- open calls and calls for demonstrations;

- tools related to signage;

- guides for visitors;

- communication and texts related to the KANAL library;

- communication and texts related to HORECA places and shops;

- documents related to the mission, vision and organization of KANAL to a wide audience.

Lot 4 (Translation and subtitling of audiovisual documents)

Comment: The successful bidder carries out the translations commissioned by the artistic and communication departments of audiovisual documents, providing subtitling, translation and/or adaptations of these files. He translates from French, Dutch and English into French, Dutch or English

The documents to be translated are essentially the following:

-artistic videos;

- video capsules of various formats and lengths;

- podcasts or audio files.
