Low-floor buses. Motor vehicles for the transport of 10 or more persons. Public-service buses. Buses and Coaches. The supply of 7 vehicles to the West Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive (Metro) fit for purpose under the following operating conditions

— Door to door transport with frequent stops;

— Operation of a registered local bus service;

— Access to residential streets and premises' car parks;

— Vehicles in service 10 hours per day – seven days per week;

— Estimated annual mileage of 30 000 miles (50 000 km);

— The vehicles must be sufficiently robust to cope with the hilly terrain within West Yorkshire.

A low floor vehicle is required; the step height will be no greater than 250 mm with the vehicle on level ground and with the suspension lowered.
