The object of this contract is the supply, delivery, assembly and installation of school furniture for the European School of Brussels 1.
One of the essential points of the market is to be able to select products via catalog:
When establishing purchase orders, the material requested will be selected from all the products offered in the catalog.
The catalog must at least include furniture for the following areas:
- nursery class furniture,
- primary class furniture,
- secondary class furniture,
- school library furniture,
- school infirmary furniture,
- executive furniture (for school administration).
The list of items requested: is presented in appendix 3 and includes a set of items that must be proposed by the tenderer. Tenderers must, under penalty of nullity of their offer, make an offer for all the items included in this basic list. Any product offered as an alternative to the reference model must be of at least equivalent quality (same standard, same level of practice). If an alternative is offered, the technical specification must be provided by the applicant and demonstrate equivalence.
The quantities indicated in Annex 3 list are provisional and do not commit the administration. Greater or less or no quantities may give rise to compensation. The tenderer undertakes to ensure the supply and the quality of the products. Any offer which does not comply with the requirements below will be rejected.
The equipment offered must comply with the standards applicable to school furniture in force in the wood and furniture sector:
Safety: the furniture must correspond to the standards in force. They will be free of edges, sharp angles and machining bars. The surfaces in contact with the floor will be sufficient to avoid puncturing the floor coverings.
Compliance with standards: the supplier must ensure that the proposed furniture does not require the use of child labor under conditions contrary to recognized international conventions, the supply must benefit from a social quality label production or meet equivalent conditions.
Assembly: the assemblies will be made in such a way as to ensure sufficient rigidity, solidity and undeformability under normal conditions of use.
The contractor undertakes, throughout the performance of the contract, to produce a regular quality of supplies.
