Northern Ireland Electricity Limited has a requirement for the construction of seven 110kV cable circuits connecting from the Tamnamore substation to remote locations and the relocation/part extension of an existing circuit. The respective cable ratings are 200MVA and 144MVA. The work will include (but is not limited to) the following:
Design of 110kV cables.
Construction of trenching and duct civil works associated with 110kV cable circuits.
Design, manufacture, supply / delivery, installation, test and commissioning of the 110kV cable circuit installations including surge arresters, SVLs, cable terminations, joints, bonding systems, enabling works, and steel support structures.
Remote end outdoor cable sealing ends and surge arrestors to be supplied. These are to be erected on aerial platform attached to the terminal towers. These platforms will be designed by a third party. A design interface to be included.
