The target of the procurement is Y-STR putty, a quantification putty for simultaneous male and human DNA, a direct isolation putty for crime scene samples, and other reagents and components, as well as chemicals (e.g., Y-STR putty). ILSS (Internal Lane Size Standard), allelic ladder, quantification device calibration kit for spectral calibration of the electrophoresis device, which are needed to operate the aforementioned putties. The target of the acquisition also includes files (Bins, Panels, Stutters) needed for GeneMapper ID-X 1.5 or later versions for the analysis of the results. In addition, the object of procurement includes the delivery of the above-mentioned products to the customer and customer service.

Scope of acquisition

About 3,000 reactions (1,000 reactions from FTA cards and 2,000 reactions from crime scene samples) are used annually for Y-STR putty. The simultaneous quantification of male and human DNA is used for about 2,000 reactions annually. The direct isolation putty of crime scene samples is used annually to DNA isolation an estimated 12,000 crime scene samples. The figures are non-binding estimates.

The contracting entity orders products approximately 3-4 times a year. If the products currently used by the contracting entity change, the contracting entity validates the new products at the beginning of the contract period. Possible validations of new products are estimated to have been carried out in autumn 2023, after which the normal ordering of products will begin.

ENTRY INTO FORCE OF THE AGREEMENT

The aim is for the agreement to enter into force in March 2023.
