This invitation to tender is intended to obtain the delivery, installation and operational qualification of an: High Performance Storage System for the High Performance Computing Facility of the University of Luxembourg. In terms of capacity and performance of the storage solution, a gradual extension process is again planned and the objective of this first step is to target an initial effective capacity of ~1 PB. The deployed solution should sustain a growing number of concurrent clients (computing nodes) mounting the file system and exhibit from the beginning I/O performance (in read and write) of at least 10 GB/s when tested with the IOR benchmark (industry standard I/O benchmark used for testing parallel file systems) running in parallel on at least 10 distributed clients (1 thread per client).
