Subject of the contract is the construction and commissioning of the heat storage for the extension of the wood-fired power plant (HHKW) at the location Eisenbahnstraße in Ludwigsburg.
As part of the municipal climate protection model project "District heating network with solar thermal energy (SolarHeatGrid)" funded by the National Climate Initiative of the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building, three district heating networks with the existing district heating network of Stadtwerke Ludwigsburg-Kornwestheim GmbH (SWLB), in 71638 Ludwigsburg, together.
In this context, SWLB plans to build a new heat storage facility in Ludwigsburg. The new heat storage is used for intermediate storage of excess heat from various heat generation plants and is built on the neighboring site of the existing HHKW in the Eisenbahnstraße 14 in 71638 Ludwigsburg as an ancillary to this HHKW.
