Skaun Municipality invites tenderers to participate in a contest for water and sewage Eggkleiva - Børsa, excavation contract.
The Public Procurements Act LOV-2016-06-17 no. 73 (PPL) and the Utility Regulations' parts I and II apply to the invitation to tender. The contest will be held as a restricted contest with negotiations.
A contest with negotiations means that after a prior notice all interested tenderers are invited to submit a request for participation in the tender contest. Only tenderers invited by the contracting authority will be able to submit tenders. The contracting authority will choose a minimum of three and a maximum of six tenderers who will be invited to submit tenders.
This document includes rules and conditions for requesting participation in the tender contest. The draft tender documents and draft descriptions / quantity documents are attached to this document. These documents are presented for potential suppliers to decide whether it is appropriate to apply for participation in the tender contest, and shall not be answered in the application for participation.
Skaun Municipality would like to enter into a contract for the execution of the water and sewage project Eggkleiva - Børsa, Excavation contract.
The contract consists of excavation for and the laying of water and sewage pipelines from Eggkleiva in the south to Børsa in the north, and from Einan to Fossan and along a section of Meistadvegen. Parts of the stretch Einan - Fossan are an option, as the required consent has not yet been acquired from landowners. The total pipeline length for the contract is approx. 7 kilometres.
The contract also includes the following:
- The removal excess matter to a streambed and a field. The intention of the landfills is the geotechnical stabilisation of local areas. The establishment of the landfill includes raising the brook, and opening a stretch for the same brook.
- Construction of distribution station VK7, for drinking water (and fire extinguishing water), as well as an air manhole with superstructure at Hummellia. Communication with affected property owners and residents must be in Norwegian. Each work team must have minimum one person that understands oral and written Norwegian.
Two minor routes for the pipeline network have already been undertaken in a separate contract with directional drilling.
The project is carried out as an execution contract in accordance with contract NS8405, with the changes and additions that follow from 'Part II, The contract documentation'
Planned initiation of construction of the project is August 2022 with completion within 2 years and 6 months after signing the contract.
