Cannock Chase CCG and Stafford & Surrounds CCG commission health services for around 276 000 residents and invited expressions of interest from providers to deliver a Musculoskeletal Integrated Clinical Assessment and Treatment Service to be based in a minimum of 2 sites, 1 within Stafford & Surrounds and 1 within Cannock. The Provider will provide a multi-disciplinary, single point of access for service users with diagnosed or suspected musculoskeletal conditions, including back pain.

Cannock Chase CCG and Stafford & Surrounds CCG looked for a provider that could fully meet the specification and demonstrate innovation, best quality, patient experience, cost effectiveness, excellent access and deliver seamless, safe patient pathways.

There was an expectation that this service will achieve a saving against the existing service model (based on national tariff).
