The city of Haßfurt is located in the Haßberge district and is traversed by the Main (1st order waters) and the Nassach (2nd order waters). The Main is a 1st order body of water and federal waterway. According to Art. 39 BayWG in conjunction with Art. 22 BayWG, the project sponsor of the flood protection measure in Haßfurt is the Free State of Bavaria, represented by the Bad Kissingen Water Management Office.
The city of Haßfurt in the Haßberge district stretches along the Main from river km 354.00 to 357.80 and lies within the Ottendorf dam.

A preliminary draft for flood protection is to be drawn up for the city of Haßfurt.
The object of the order is the awarding of property planning in accordance the performance profile according to § 43 HOAI and the structural planning according to § 51 HOAI.
The client initially intends to award performance level 1 (LPh 1-2 according to § 43 HOAI or § 51 HOAI) as well as geotechnical services (Annex 1.3 HOAI). The client intends to call up further performance levels individually or as a whole when the planning is continued and carried out.
For the preliminary planning (performance level 1), a time frame of 12 months after placing the order is specified. Then the decision is made about the continuation of the planning.
