The Social Emergency Service (PrIS) is a service provided for by Law 328/2000 which recognizes it as an essential level of assistance to be guaranteed towards subjects who are in emergency situations and social urgency. The PrIS intervenes in cases where there is a condition of abandonment and extreme discomfort in which the person finds himself without apparent possibility of activating immediately and autonomously sufficiently adequate solutions to alleviate the condition of need; It is organized on a provincial territorial basis and responds within 24 hours for 365 days a year, through various interventions
