The Ministry of Trade and Industry manages an inter-ministerial management group for the project Knowledge Acquisition - Value Creation in the North.

Geographically, this knowledge aquisition covers the three northern counties (Nordland, Troms and Finnmark), with particular focus on the coastal areas. The starting point for the limiation is the updated administration plan for the Barents Sea - Lofoten.

This review is a transverse review in the form of an analysis of the infrastructure need in the geographical area for the knowledge acquisition.
