Planning and construction services for the production of ecological patency at Quitzöbel puncture resistance, located on the Lower Havel waterway (UHW).

Due to its poor structural condition, the puncture resistance quizzöbel was classified as a system-critical building (SKB) for which basic repair or renewal must be carried out within the next 10 years. It has a fish lift plant (FAA) built in 1938 (partial support in 2001), but it is not considered functional. According to § 34 (3) of the WHG, the WSV is obliged to maintain or restore ecological patency on federal waterways (BWAstR) dams built or operated by it, insofar as this is necessary to achieve the goals of the EU Water Framework Directive (WFD).

The engineering services serve the aim of planning and implementing measures for the production of ecological patency (fish rise and fish descent) at the Quitzöbel puncture resistance. Interfaces between military scheduling/execution with the planning and execution of the fish ascent and fish descent plant must be taken into account. However, the concrete planning of the weir is not part of the planning task at hand.

The services are to be commissioned in 2 commissioning stages. The first stage includes planning services through to approval planning as well as the preparation of the draft HU and the design AU. The second stage includes execution planning, preparation of the award and participation in the award as well as the construction services and should be commissioned optionally — individually or as a whole — if the preceding services of the 1st commissioning stage have been provided to the satisfaction of the AG.
