As a replacement for a TLF16/25 water tender built in 1989, the city of Bad König procures a StLF 20 relay fire engine according to Technical Guideline Hesse (TRH-StLF 20:2023).

The vehicle is to be used as a second fire engine after an existing HLF20, especially in fires and minor technical assistance.

Due to the additional load carried along, it is to be used primarily in vegetation firefighting but also in water and ice rescue and in surface situations (storms / floods) as a first attack vehicle. Therefore, the requirements of DIN/TS 14530-29 Supplement TLF-V (Firefighting vehicles - Part 29: Supplementary requirements for tank firefighting vehicles for

Vegetation firefighting TLF 2000-V, TLF 3000-V, TLF 4000-V) or the Hessian guideline TRH-StLF20:2023-V partially integrated into the specifications and should also be applied if possible.

In addition, the StLF 20 serves as a replacement vehicle in the event of failure of the HLF 20 at the site. As a result, certain loading items have to be loaded interchangeably at short notice.
