The purpose of the performance of services is:

To prepare a national standard for the certification of Lithuanian private forests under the PEFC certification system, including public consultation with the public, pilot testing of the standard, its approval at the national level and submission of the approved standard for international assessment and certification, as well as to pay the annual fee for membership in pefc.

Basic requirements for the service:

1. To organize the resumption of the activities of PEFC member PEFC Lietuva.

2. In accordance with the established procedures for the preparation of the PEFC standard, to prepare the national standard of the PEFC forest certification system for the certification of private forests in Lithuania, paying special attention to the need to certify private forests in accordance with the PEFC certification standard to private forest owners in cooperation with general forestry activities (group certification). During the preparation of the national standard, analyze the need and possibilities for chain of custody certification.

3. In accordance with the established certification and accreditation procedures of the PEFC standard, to approve and publish the developed national standard of the PEFC forest certification system, to inform the accredited body.

4. In accordance with the established procedures for the evaluation and approval of the PEFC standard, submit the pefc forest certification system national standard for international assessment and certification.

The deadline for the performance of services is within 24 months. from the date of conclusion of the contract. The term of performance of services can be extended by 6 months (no more than 2 times). The term of performance of services may not exceed 36 months.
