FiB would like to have an inviting and user friendly website. The website, www.fib.no, is a central part of the festival's communication and sales work. FiB's goal is to achieve 95% digital ticket sales through its website.
Festspillene i Bergen (hereafter FiB) was established in1953 and is the flag ship amongst Scandinavia's festivals for music and stage art. FiB is organised as a foundation and receives public subsidies from the Arts Council Norway, Bergen Municipality, and Vestland County.
FiB has established itself as a centre for the north European arts stage, known for indigenous presentations, new productions within music, opera, theatre, and dance, and a large diversity in the programme. FiB takes place at the turn of the month May-June each year. Festspillene i Bergen 2023 had more than 77,000 visitors, including approx. 28,000 issued tickets.

Coming events with separate programme pages in Norwegian and English are published on the website. In 2023, 118 different events were published. Approx. half of these events are free of charge. Events can currently be filtered on the basis of date, arena, and category. In addition, they can be sorted on the basis of 'family', 'outside', 'free',, and 'digital'. Articles, other information pages, and information on collaboration partners are also published on the website.
The website, www.fib.no, has had more than 88,000 users and more than 600,000 page views in the last year.
FiB has ambitions to have more visitors to its events, more first-time public visitors, and a more diverse public. In order to achieve this, FiB would like to build a new website that is more user friendly.
