Air defence radar. The requirement is for a deployable long range air defence radar system for operational use worldwide that is able to detect both cooperative and non-cooperative targets in the UK and overseas.

The successful contractor will supply:

— one self-sustaining air defence radar system, delivered to a location to be confirmed, by 31.12.2019,

— in service 3rd and 4th line support, commencing at acceptance, to achieve 95 % availability throughout the contract,

— spares to achieve 95 % availability throughout the contract, including a deployable spares pack,

— operator and technician training,

— operator and technical documentation.

The contract will be for 2 years and 6 months, commencing 1.10.2018 and ending 31.3.2020.
