Strandebarm welfare is planned with 26 residences including accommodation for palliation and infection control, accommodation for married couples, as well as a number of service and administration rooms. The project is based on an investment grant from the Housing Bank of Norway, and that all the plans fulfil the Housing Bank of Norway's requirements for the design of welfare accommodation with 24 hour care.

The financial limit that forms the basis of the political decision is NOK 120 million excluding VAT. The sum also includes builder costs (financing, equipment, procurement of the plot, ground work carried out per December 2020, development work, own resources, fixtures).

Based on this, the financial limit for the contract costs is approx. NOK 107 million excluding VAT.

NB: The sum does not include work specified in Book 1 chapter 3.7.2 Main installations water and sewage from the plot to a future treatment plant by the sea.
